Lincang Area
The Core Region Shaping Yunnan's Pu'er Tea Landscape
The Lincang producing area of Pu'er tea is located in the southwest of Yunnan Province. It is one of the core producing areas of Pu'er tea. The tea output accounts for 30% of that of Yunnan Province, and the output of Pu'er tea even occupies one-third of the province.


BingDao Producing Area
Geographical location:
Located in Mengku Town, Shuangjiang County, Lincang City, on the halfway up of Bangma Snow Mountain.
Tea characteristics:
BingDao tea is one of the most famous tea products in Lincang tea area. Its tea leaves are thick and plump, the buds are prominent and covered with fine hair.
The color of the tea leaves is shiny dark brown. The tea soup has a mellow taste, a long-lasting sweet aftertaste, a soft aroma mainly of flower and fruit, a long-lasting fragrance when the cup is held, a deep throat feel, and thick, full, soft and shiny tea leaves at the bottom of the cup.


Xigui Producing Area
Geographical location:
Located at Manglu Mountain, Xigui Village, Bangdong Township, Linxiang District, Lincang City.
Tea characteristics:
The tea leaves of Xigui tea are tight in shape, small like willow leaves, thin and with no obvious fine hair on the surface.
After brewing, the tea soup has a high concentration. The tea has a strong aroma but a smooth taste. The waterway is fine.Accompanied by a strong sweet aftertaste and salivation, the aroma is sharp. The throat feel is fresh and pleasant with the fragrance of agarwood. The inner quality is rich and very resistant to brewing. The fragrance lingers in the mouth for a long time.


Mengku Producing Area
Geographical location:
Located in Shuangjiang County, Lincang City. The terrain is special and is divided into two halves, east and west, with the Nanmeng River running through it.
Tea characteristics:
The tea tree planting area in the Mengku tea area is large. The tea has a strong mountainous flavor. The tea soup has a fresh and pleasant taste and a long-lasting and high aroma.
The tea leaves in the east half of the mountain are thick and plump, with full buds and a high aroma; the tea leaves in the west half of the mountain have a mellow taste and a strong tea aroma.


Fengqing Producing Area
Geographical location:
Located in the west of Lincang City.
Tea characteristics:
Mainly large-leaf tea varieties. The tea quality is excellent and the taste is mellow. The tea has an oily green color, the tea soup is clear and bright, the leaves at the bottom of the cup are tender, the aroma is rich and lasting. The produced Pu'er tea is also highly favored in the market.
